A native New Yorker, savvy businesswoman, and proud single mother, Yvette began her career at the United States Environmental Protection Agency in 1990 before shifting her focus to entrepreneurship in the public relations field. Today, she collaborates with organizations in the arts, culture, social impact, and mindful business sectors, partnering with groups like Miami Carnival, the Museums Association of the Caribbean, Hampton Art Lovers, the South Florida People of Color, the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, Island SPACE Caribbean Museum, the American Black Film Festival, and the Overtown Children & Youth Coalition.

 At the heart of Yvettes work is a clear mission: to amplify the stories of Black and Brown people. She is known for crafting thoughtful, in-depth, and impactful narratives that uplift communities, celebrate cultural heritage, and inspire genuine engagement. Her success comes not just from her professional skills but also from a deep passion for raising voices that might otherwise go unheard.

Beyond her professional achievements, Yvette is deeply committed to public service and cultural advocacy. She serves as the Chair of Multicultural Tourism & Development for the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, holds multiple board positions, volunteers on the Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Community Grants panel, and is the current President of the PTSA at New World School of the Arts High School.
